Modesto Junior College (MJC) is one of fifteen California Community Colleges that is offering a bachelor's degree program in the California Community College System. A new cohort begins the online program each fall.
The goal of the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Respiratory Care is: To provide graduates of entry into respiratory care professional practice degree programs with additional knowledge, skills, and attributes in leadership, management, education, research, or advanced clinical practice both to meet their current professional goals and to prepare them for practice as advanced degree respiratory therapists.

Program Overview

The MJC Bachelor's Degree Program in Respiratory Care is delivered in an accelerated format. The required program courses (40 units), is offered in an 8-week online format. Program applicants are required to complete the 39 required California State University General Education (CSU-GE) units.  If lower division coursework is necessary, advisement from the program’s educational counselor is available for developing an educational plan.
